Tour 1 – Explore the Magic of Wieliczka Salt Mine

Step underground into a world where sparkling walls and salt chandeliers create a truly magical atmosphere—and discover a church carved entirely by hand! The Wieliczka Salt Mine, over 700 years old, was once so valuable that salt was called “white gold,” contributing a third of Poland’s royal income.

Legend has it that Princess Kinga brought the first salt to Poland as a wedding gift, throwing her engagement ring into a Hungarian mine. When miners dug in Wieliczka, they found her ring in the salt—a miracle that made her the patron saint of miners.
