Distributor Membership

A distributor is classified as a company, which is primarily engaged in the stocking and wholesale distribution of finished and semi-finished plastic products, eg sheet, rod, tube, pipe, film, valves, etc.

Applicants for Distributor Membership must:
  1. Be domicile in a European country.
  2. Have an annual turnover in plastic products of not less than 1.000.000 Euros.
  3. Have a plastics distribution business which accounts for 25% or more of the company’s gross sales.
  4. Provide two current EPDA or IAPD members as their sponsor.
  5. Have been in business for at least two years.
  6. Accept the EPDA Code of Practice.

Manufacturer Membership

A manufacturer is classified as a company, which is primarily engaged in the manufacturer of finished and semi-finished plastic products, eg sheet, rod, tube, pipe, film, valves, etc.

Applicants for Manufacturer Membership must:
  1. Show commitment to the use of distributors for their products and have at least 51% of their gross plastics sales handled by distributors.
  2. Submit a distribution policy statement showing that 51% of sales go through distributors.
  3. Have an annual turnover in plastic products of not less than 1.000.000 Euros.
  4. Provide two current EPDA or IAPD members as their sponsor.
  5. At the time of joining, introduce 1 x new Distributor who also wishes to join EPDA.
  6. Have been in business for at least two years.
  7. Accept the EPDA Code of Practice.
