Welcome Reception

The welcome drinks reception will be held at Clarion Hotel in the Living Room Bar, which spills onto the waterfront. All EPDA delegates and partners are invited to this social event.

Optional Welcome Dinner

Kick off your conference with a fantastic networking opportunity at one of Helsinki’s finest fish restaurants—Merimakasiini, located only a 5-minute walk from the hotel. It is a typically Finnish restaurant, cosy and with a relaxed and intimate atmosphere.

All EPDA delegates and partners are invited to this optional welcome dinner but please book early as there is limited capacity.

There is no transport provided, the restaurant is 5-10 minute walk along the harbour, please make your own way there.

Lonkero hour

Experience your first Lonkero, which is a typical Finnish refreshment, a mixture of gin and grapefruit soda. The Lonkero drink was invented for the 1952 Olympics in Helsinki.

Gala Dinner on a private island

This year, the gala dinner is on a private island — how great is that! A coach and boat shuttle will take us from the hotel to the island.

Restaurant Saaristo is located on its own island, Klippan island. A white Art Nouveau style villa, built in 1899, Saaristo’s is one of Helsinki’s most imposing and traditional restaurants and offers the best delicacies of Scandinavian cuisine. We hope to see all EPDA delegates and partners at the gala dinner!

Midnight Sun Celebrations • The after-party

During the Midnight Sun Celebrations we all gather at the hotel’s sky bar to experience the Midnight Sun. A Nordic phenomenon that makes you feel like the day will never end. The sky bar will extend its opening hours until 02.00 AM to give us the opportunity to experience the Midnight Sun together.

Optional Dinner – Ragu Restaurant

Join us for dinner at Ragu. Ragu takes inspiration from the combination of clean and innovative Scandinavian kitchen and our passion for Italian culinary heritage. Enjoy the delicious food in Helsinki city centre.

All EPDA delegates and partners are invited to this optional welcome dinner. There is no transport provided, but we will meet in the hotel reception and walk as a group.
