In November 2023, we hosted our first Distributors Forum XXL in Bruges. In the past, a Distributors’ Forum was hosted by one manufacturer. This year we decided to visit Bruges where we have 3 manufacturers located close by. Reason for us to host a XXL Forum, which turned out to be a huge success.
Day 1. Paneltim NV
Paneltim NV welcomed us with a nice lunch. After lunch, we went on a plant tour, which is always one of the best things to do with distributors. It’s amazing to see how a product like this is manufactured. Paneltim also offers its customers a recycling service. The afternoon was concluded with a presentation by Saksia Walraedt, who gave us an update on the EU regulations.
Day 2. Exolon and Mitsubishi Chemical Group
Exolon offered us a networking dinner on the first evening. The next morning, we all met again at their plant for a tour and a presentation about Exolon materials and their sustainability programme, which included interesting information about the ISCC certification.
Day 3. Mitsubishi Chemical Group
Mitsubishi offered us a networking dinner at the famous Belgian Brewery Halve Maen. Before dinner, we went on a brewery tour and had a tasting of Straffe Hendrik and Brugse Zot. The plant tour at Mitsubishi was impressive, as were the presentations about their materials and innovations.
