Objective

To provide insight into how the distributors can utilise marketing tools to build customer engagement with the brand, rebuilding the value chain to improve margins and return.

Speakers

Gareth Dunlop
Gareth Dunlop CEO & Founder, Fathom
Following 15 years of direct commercial experience helping businesses use the Internet more effectively, Gareth established the dedicated User-Experience agency Fathom in September 2011 to advise companies on how to get the most from the Internet by seeing the world from the perspective of their customers.

Previously Gareth was the MD of iON, a leading digital strategy and marketing company, headquartered in Belfast and with major clients in 15 countries. Prior to that he was the MD of Tibus, one of the largest and most successful web development agencies in Ireland, from 2002 to 2009 when it was sold to UTV Media. Since 1996, he has gained massive commercial experience advising blue chip clients in Ireland, UK and Europe (SPAR, DHL, Post Office UK, BBC) on Internet strategy and best practice.

A Board Member of Christian Aid Ireland, Board Member of IEDR, former Board Member of the Irish Internet Association, and Chairman of WeddingsOnline.ie, Gareth writes & lectures extensively on Internet related matters. He occupies regular columns in SiliconRepublic.com and the Irish Independent in the Republic of Ireland, and Business Eye magazine in Northern Ireland. Gareth is a former judge of the Eircom Spider Awards, the DANI Awards and the IIA Net Visionary Awards.

Andi Jarvis
Andi JarvisFounder, Eximo Marketing
Andi Jarvis is the Founder of Eximo Marketing, a Belfast-based marketing strategy agency. Andi started his career working in professional sport, as Marketing Manager for Durham County Cricket Club, marketing domestic and international sports events alongside concerts for major artists like Elton John and UB40. Moving to Belfast in 2009, Andi worked in the media with UTV, helping to raise the profile on the channel and launching new programmes.

After moving to work in agencies in 2011, Andi has worked across a range of sectors, helping companies from Budweiser, Yellow Tail and Corona to Smiley Monroe, Action Renewables and Electric Ireland with their digital marketing.

Andi holds an MSc in Marketing, and through Eximo Marketing he runs training courses for SMEs to help them shape their marketing strategy alongside consulting with larger firms. He also runs a fundraising project called WifiRefugees.org, which provides smaller businesses with free marketing advice in an local coffee shop, in return for a donation to a refugee charity.

Andi is also an event host, speaks at marketing events throughout the UK and Ireland and a contributor to Irish Tech News.
