EPDA Survey Results Posted
The EPDA Board of Directors meet in Milan, Italy.Dear EPDA members,

In August 2006 the EPDA conducted a member survey to understand the member perspectives on the direction of the association.

Survey results may be downloaded at www.epda.com/pdf/2006_survey.pdf.

The Board interpreted the results at its Board meeting as a confirmation that most members agree and support the direction of the association. Additionally, the Board agreed they would like for the members to review the results of the survey and have an opportunity to provide feedback via email at epda@epda.com or during the next annual general meeting in Torino, Italy, in May 2007.

We encourage all members to share their ideas, questions or concerns.

Sincerely,

Bryan Heath, EPDA President

RIGHTON HITS 100 Euro MILLION TURNOVER
An additional 4,500 square metres of warehouse and processing space in BirminghamRighton Limited, one of the UK’s foremost supplier of metals, plastics and composites achieved a 30 percent increase in sales turnover to €100 million  in 2006 and managed to increase profit by 50 percent to €5 million in the same period.

To ensure continued expansion, the company is expanding into an additional 4,500 square metres of warehouse and processing space in Birmingham. Righton’s range of ACM now includes copper and stainless steel surfaces as well as granite and woodgrain decorative finishes.

Dedicated to the continued development of its business, Righton also recently concluded a deal in February 2007 to acquire 2 acres of land at Cambuslang, Glasgow, in order to build a new 3,000 square metre service centre to meet the demands of increasing business in Scotland. The new service centre will be operational in November 2007. This will take the company’s total warehousing to over 30,000 square metres, supplying in excess of 30,000 tonnes of material to its customers annually.
