Committees and Networking Groups

Communications Committee

Chair Sumayyah Mahomed Nylacast Ltd.

The Communications Committee is the official voice of the association. Members work toward increasing the association’s profile through the EPDA E-Update newsletter, published monthly, as well as other publication opportunities. The Communications Committee also recommends programs and activities to the Board of Directors to communicate the association’s initiatives to the membership and beyond.

Environmental Committee

The Environmental Committee exists to bring issues regarding the sustainability of plastics to the forefront within the membership. It recommends programs and policies to help educated members of EPDA on how to discuss sustainability as well as embrace environmentally sound policies within their organisations.

The Membership Committee is the association’s official recruiter. Members work toward increasing membership through recruitment campaigns and by recommending to the Board of Directors programs and policies that add value to membership in EPDA.

The Plastic Stock Shapes Committee recommends programs of interest to EPDA members who specialise in plastic stock shapes.

PVF Group

The PVF Networking Group provides a forum for addressing issues specific to manufacturing and distribution pipe, valves, and fittings.
